GENTLEMEN I LIVE *ITMIN ONE MILE OF THE SHOREHAM FACILITY. I AM OPPOSED TO ITS OPENING. LILCO HAS PROVEN THAT IT IS UNABLE TO MANAGE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIJ FACILITY. IT IS THE PUBLIC N0d TO BELIEVE THAT LILCO CAN SAFELY 0^ERATE THIS PLANT 7 NUCLEAR ENERGY HAS NO FUTURE.

It is rumored that LILCO will be selling surplus energy to other areas.

N.Y. State is now selling excess enery from its hydor-electire plants.

Suoreham design is now obsolete and there are reports or faulty construc-tion and numerous deficiencies.

i More concern should be shown for health and safety of people than tne future wall being of the Nuclear industry.
