Dear Mr. Chainnan:
In accordance with the statutory obligation to respond to recommendations by the General Accounting Office (GAO) within 60 days of publication, we hereby submit our responses to the recommendations made by the GA0 in their report entitled, " Federal Agencies Negligent in Collecting Debts Arising from Audits," ( AFMD-82-32).
The Commicsion supports the eight recommendations made by the GA0.
Specific comments on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's compliance with the recommendations are presented in the Enclosure.
