MOTION FOR RECUSAL OF COMMISSIONER ASSELSTINE Intervenors, Natural Resources Defense Council, Inc. and the Sierra Club (the "Intervenors"), hereby respt:t-fully move that Commissioner Asselstine recuse himself from any reconsideration of the Commission's decision of March 16, 1982 (Order, CLI-82-4, March 16, 1982).

This motion is founded in the Commission's Rules for the Conduct of Employ-ees, 10 CFR pt. O, and, more particularly, on 10 CFR S0.735-49a, which requires that employees avoid any action which might result in or create the appearance of bias, par-tiality, or lack of independence.
