Dear Judge Brenner:
As you requested on May 7, 1982, we have reviewed Exhibit 2 to the Addendum to Testimony of Marc W. Goldsmith on Behalf of Suffolk County Regarding Suffolk County Contention 4 - Water Hammer. That document is the " Compilation of Data Concerning Known and Suspected Water Hammer Events in Nuclear Power Plants," Preliminary Draft dated April 1982, prepared by EG&G Idaho, Inc. We will move that the entire document be admitted into evidence with the exception of: (a) the section entitled "PWR Non-Steam Generator Events"; (b) the section entitled "PWR Steam Generator Events"; (c) Appendix B (PWR Non-Steam-Generator Events) ; and (d) Appendix C (PWR Steam Generator Events).
