i O Consumers Power Company General Offices: 212 West Michigen Avenue, Jackson, Michleen 49201 + (517) 788-0650 May 14, 1982 Dennis M Crutchfield, Chief Operating Reactors Branch No 5 Nuclear Reactor Regulation US Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 DOCKET 50-155 - LICENSE EPR BIG ROCK POINT PLANT - SEP TOPIC III-6, SEISMIC DES.IGN CONSIDERATIONS By letter dated May 5, 1982, (same subject), Consumers Power Company submitted a report entitled " Site Specific Response Spectrum, Big Rock Nuclear Power Plant," (May 1982) by Weston Geophysical Corporation.
Because this document has direct revelance to the Big Rock spent fuel pool expansion proceedings, we have determined that the manner in which it was submitted was improper.
Accordingly, Consumers Power Company letter of May 5, 1982 is hereby with-drawn.
It is requested that all copies of the cover letter and enclosures distributed by NRC be retrieved and returned to Consumers Power Company.
It is expected that the report in question will be resubmitted in the near future in the manner appropriate to ensure proper consideration by the ASLB and the staff during the hearing process.
