Dear Mrs. Ellis:
This is to notify you that the NRC Staff hereby supplements its answer to Interrogatory 2 of " CASE'S First Set of Interrogatories and Requests to Produce to NRC Staff," February 10, 1982. That interrogatory requested "The names and addresses, background information and subject matter for all witnesses which the NRC Staff plans to call regarding Contention 5."
The Staff has now determined that Mr. William A. Crossman will be a witness concerning Contention 5, in addition to the individuals named in the Staff's answer to this interrogatory. Mr. Crossman is Chief, Reactor Project Section B, Reactor Project Branch 1, Region IV, NRC, Arlington, Texas (see copy of attached statement of professional qualifications).
The Staff has tentatively determined that he will provide an introduction to the Staff's testimony and will address: 1) the role of the NRC Staff during construction and the NRC Staff inspection of the Applicants' Quality Assurance / Quality Control Program.
