TRIP REPORT - NEW ENGLAND RADIOLOGICAL w
HEALTH COMMITTEE MEETING During the period October 28-30, 1981 I attended the New England Radiological Health Committee Meeting. They had one session on LLW which they had invited us to participate in.
I reviewed the current status and major provisions of Part 61 and our plans for completion of the final rule. Discussion which followed concentrated on the time required to obtain a licensee, requirements on waste form stability, schedule for completion of Part 61 and compatibility of Agreement State regulations.
I also presented a discussion of the NRC state Agreements Program for Joel Lubenau, SP using material and viewgraphs supplied by Joel.
