50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (Enclosure 1).

These proposed changes consist or minor corrections and clarifications (i.e., typographical errors, etc.) of the current technical specifications and more accurately reflect the actual plant configuration. Also enclosed are the justification and safety analyses for the proposed changes (Enclosure 2).

Because these changes resolve ambiguities which exist in the technical specifications, we would appreciate your most expeditious review.

In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined this proposed amendment to be Class II for unit 2 and Class I for units 1 and 3 These classifications are based on the facts that the proposed amendment is an administrative change that has no safety significance for unit 2, and the proposed amendments for units 1 and 3 are duplicates of the unit 2 proposed amendment. The remittance for

$2,000 ($1,200 for unit 2 and $800 for units 1 and 3) is being wired to the NRC, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
