Dear Mr. Schwencer:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with the results of the test which was scheduled per References (a) and (b).
On April 14, 1982, Tech-Sil successfully performed the fire test on a non-segregated phase bus duct penetration fire seal at Portland Cement Associated in Skokie, Illinois.
Representatives of S&L and CECO witnessed the test.
Tech-Sil submitted a preliminary fire test ' report to us on April 16, 1982.
Tech Sil conducted the fire test according to the ASTM E-119 time and temperature curve for three hours.
During the 3-hour test, fire did not penetrate through the penetration seal, and fire did not occur on the unexposed surf, : ef the penetration.
Immedi-ately following the fire test, Te.0 5 -5 2 performed two hose-stream tests in accordance with ANI am. IE' 634-1978 test requirements.

Since Tech Sil has successfully performed a fire test on a bus duct fire seal and has submitted a report, we have fulfilled our commitment to the NRC with regards to this item.
