REFERENCE:

CP CO (J W COOK) LETTER DATED FEBRUARY 22, 1982, SERIAL 15993 The reference provided a response to NRC Question 400.9 concerning unresolved safety issues.

It has come to our attention that a portion of Issue A-43, Containment Emergency Sump Performance contains a typographical error. On Page 2, Line 11 of A-43, the response states that the highest approach velocity in the vicinity of the containment sump is 0.5 fps. The correct highest approach velocity is 0.2 fps.

Please make corrections accordingly.
