REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FROM MAINE YANKEE ATOMIC POWER COMPANY Your memorandum of March 16, 1982 requested our assistance in obtaining specified information from Maine Yankee regarding credible CEA withdrawals.
Your memo notes that the licensee's participation in this effort 11s voluntary.
The licensee has indicated in conversations with the NRC project manager that he does not wish to participate in the study you are conducting. The licensee cites his current workload, the existence of a staff approved CEA withdrawal analysis for Maine Yankee and the question of applicability of your study to Maine Yankee's " manual" CEA control design, as contributing to his decision.
