Exercise Evaluations for Three Mile Island Nuclear Station i

Attached herewith are exercise " Observations and Recommendations" for the two exercises held for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station. On June 2, 1981, an exercise was conducted with all parties excluding York County, Pa.

participating. A separate exercise for York County was conducted on August 29, 1981.

The Radiological Assistance Committee (RAC) report on the June 2, 1981, exercise indicates "The overall response capability of Pennsylvania was shown to exceed minimum standards on the whole, notwithstanding the improvements recomended." Regarding the August 29, 1981, exercise for York County the RAC indicates, "In general, the County's capability was found to meet or exceed minimum standards, the importance of the recomendations notwithstanding. "
