Dear Mr. Rondel:

This is in response to your letter dated February 17, 1982, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, details about the radioactivity circuitry system submitted by Travel Commander and Fyrenetics on their NRC license application.

As explained in a telephone conversation between you and Nina Toms of my staff, our records ir.dicate that Travel Commander does not have an active NRC license.

It is possible that Travel Commander is located in an Agreement State, but we would have to know their address to make this determination.

An Agreement State has the authority to grant licenses within the given state.

We have enclosed a list of the twenty-six (26) Agreement States.

Since the State of Washington is an Agreement State, your application for a license should be submitted to the name and address indicated on the enclosure.

Ms. Toms further explained that, although there were drawings in the Fyrenetics application, there were no drawings detailing their circuitry systems.

Should you need further assistance af ter you have contacted the licensing authority in the State of Washington, the individual named below may be contacted:

1 Mr. John Hickey, Section Leader Materials Licensing Branch U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 Telephone:

(301) 427-4093 This completes NRC's action on your request.

Sincerely,

/
