m Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant - Units 1 & 2 NUREG-0737, Item III.D.3.3 Review Completion As a clarification to your letter of March 26, 1982 in reference to the above subject, Alabama Power Company submits the following.
Alabama Power Company considers this NUREG-0737 item closed for Units 1 and 2.
The Unit 2 status is documented in the Farley SER Supplement 4, Section 22.2 as acceptable to the NRC.
The Unit 1 status was documented in Alabama Power Company's January 14, 1981 letter to the NRC.
The system utilized to measure radioiodine concentration is the same for both units, thus the NRC review conducted for Unit 2 should also apply to Unit 1.
Alabama Power Company therefore considers its system to have satisfied the NUREG-0737, Item III.D.3.3 requirements for both units.
