Inservice Inspection Program Additional Information

Dear Sir:

Reference (b) requested Maine Yankee to furnish the subject additional infomation.

Provided below is this information:

1.

A supplement to Proposed Change 67, Reference (c), is being developed and will be submitted by June 1,1982.

This supplement will establish the method for determining the revision of the code to be used in each 120 month ISI interval and will establish the method by which relief from ISI requirements may be obtained where needed.

Relief requests will no longer be included in the technical specifications.

2.

The Staff's position concerning the adoption of Appendix III in Section XI of the ASME Code, as described in Reference (b), will be incorporated into the ISI Program prior to the next Inservice Inspection.
