In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), please find enclosed copies of 1 through 5 of the Pilgrim Station Modified Amended Security Plan, Revision 8.
This revision incorporates changes resulting from the cancella-tion of Pilgrim Unit #2, changes which provide a more understandable explana-tion of security systems functions and operations, and changes to eliminate duplication of conmitments. All changes were suo' ject to a careful review and do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the Plan.
Five (5) highlighted copies detailing changes are enclosed to assist you in identifying the changes.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21 of the NRC's regulations, we are requesting that you withhold the information provided in Enclosure copies 1 through 5 and high-lighted copies from public inspection.
