INTERROGATORY 7 Please provide one copy each of all ERDA (or USAEC), TVA, and CRBRP data, studies, reports or other assessments which contain information favorable to increasing in-lieu-of tax payments to the City of Oak Ridge. Include the names and addresses of the principal contributors to these materials.

RESPONSE

The socio-economic impacts of the CRBhP Project on the City of Oak Ridge are identified in Chapter 8 and Appendix C of Amendment X of th e Applicants' environmental Report. The Applicants' analysis concludes that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the City of Oak Ridge. The Applicants are aware of only one report entitled " Report of the DOE Working Group on Community Assistance," dated December 1978, which contains information favorable to increasing in-lieu-of tax payments to the City of Oak Ridge. A copy of this report will be made available to representatives of the City of Oak Ridge for inspection and copying at the CRBRP Project Office in Oak Ridge.

INTERROGATORY 10 Please provide one copy each of all reports, memos, data, studies, or other assessments prepared by ERDA's Oak Ridge facilities (including ORNL, Y-12, ORGDP, and ORO) which discuss impacts of construction and operation of the CRBRP on the City of Oak Ridge and/or ERDA facilities and operations in Oak Ricge.

RESPONSE

The Applicants, in conjunction with the DOE Oak Ridge Operations Office, have identified one report which presents informa ti on regarding impacts of construction and operation of the CRBRP on the City of Oak Ridge and/or DOE facilities and operations in Oak Ridge. A copy of this report prepared by the DOE Oak Ridge Operations Office (formerly the ERDA Oak Ridge Operations Office) entitled "Need for Modification to the Oak Ridge Area Highway System to Accommodate Added Traffic" will be made available to repr esenta tiv es of the City of Oak Ridge for inspection and copying at the CRBRP Project Office in Oak Ridge.

INTERROGATORY 13 Please identify those staff members whose "obse rv a tion s and judgments" (mentioned in Section 8.3.2.1 of th e ER , 3rd paragraph of that section) led to the conclusions with regard to relocation of construction employees.

RESPONSE

Staff members whose " observations and judgments" led to the conclusions contained in Section 8.3.2.1 of the ER with regard to the relocation of construction employees were: R. Baker (TVA),

G. DeVeney (TVA) and P. Scharre (TVA).

INTERROGATORY 14 i Section 8.1.3.1.2 of the ER states in the 3rd paragraph of that section that "In Oak Ridge, the vacancy rate is approximately one percent for all rental property." Please identify the source of that statement and supply one copy each of all reports, memos, data, studies, or other assessments related to that statement.

RESPONSE
