Dear Mr. Wiedeman:
This is in reference to our letter of March 23, 1982, in which we requested additional time to respond to your Notice of Violation, dated March 2, 1982.
The Notice cited the Human Use Radioisotope Committee for meeting twice each year instead of four times.
Enclosed is a memo written to me by the chairman of the Human Use Radioisotope Committee.
We trust this response is satisfactory; please advise me of any additional actions we should take to satisfy the regulations under which we use licensed by-product material.

U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) CITATION With the recent site visit of the NRC to our campus, the visitors found that we were deficient in the number of meetings held by the Human Use of Radioisotopes Committee.
Since 1-1-82, two formal meetings have been held by the Committee and minutes recorded.
The Committee will be meeting four (4) times a year as suggested in the citation.
You may inform the NRC that this deficiency has been corrected.
