Dear Mr. Schwencer:

The Mechanical Engineering Branch is responsible for reviewing Reactor vessel internals vibration test program in accordance with Reg. Guide 1.20.

CEI has committed to the reg. guide 1.20 requirements for prototype reactors. We have also submitted an outline of the specifics of our proposed test program for reactor vessel internals vibration. Additionally, we commit to provide a detailed description of our test program to the staff for their review at least 90 days prior to the scheduled performance of the test.

Very Truly Yours,
