Issuance of Amendment to Technical Specification 5.2-1, License No. R-37 The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 20 to Facility License No, R-37 for your tank-type reactor in response to your letter dated March 19, 1982.
This amendment changes the 5.2-1 Techr.f cal Specification requirement for cladding thickness. The previous requirement was that the fuel core be isbeingchangedinaccordancewitht0k5+ pre.QMthick.

sent day practice in fabrication of fuel core cladding.which permits a thinner cladding while maintaining fuel cladding integrity. The amendment to the Technical Specifications is shown in the attached Section 5.2-1 as noted by the vertical lines.
