Zimmer Emergency Preparedness Completion Schedule This is in response to your March 23, 1982, memorandum in which you requested that FEMA conduct a field verification of the Zimmer Emergency Preparedness Completion Schedule introduced into the Zimmer hearing record.
I have instructed FEMA Regions IV and V to verify that Kentucky, including Bracken, Pendleton, and Campbell Counties, and Ohio, including Clermont County, complete offsite standard operating procedures and implement communications systems required for offsite response per the Emergency Preparedness Completion Schedule.
Both Regional Offices plan to dispatch personnel to the State and local offices responsible for developing and implementing the standard operating procedures and if necessary, to Stone and Webster, the contractor retainr ;
to develop many of the plans. Scheduled completion of this effort has been set for the end of July 1982 at which time you will be provided
- the results of the Regional verifications.
