Revision No. 1 to the TMI-1 0FFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL (ODCM)
ODCM Pages Revised The below listed pages of the ODCM were revised. Copies of the revision one pages are attached for your information.
- 1. Page 5-1 (Section 5.0 page originally unnumbered)
- 2. Page 6-1 (Section 6.0 page originally unnumbered)
- 3. Page 7-1 (Section 7.0 page originally unnu=bered)
- 4. Table 4-5 (Colu=n for leafy vegetable pathway)
Reasons for the Revisions Sections 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0 were revised to include guidance /information since these sections were originally blank in the approved ODCM.
T3ble 4-5 was changed to factor in consideration of stored vegetation as well as fresh vegetation in the leafy vegetable pathway column. t Evaluation Justifying the Revisions The changes to Sections 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0 increase the usefulness and accuracy of the ODCM inasmuch as they provide guidance where none previously existed. These changes can only improve the accuracy and reliability of dose calculations and/or setpoint determinations over a situation where no guidance exists.
Including stored vegetation in the leafy vegetable pathway serves to improve the accuracy and reliability of dose calculations and setpoint determinations.
