Sunday, February 16, 2020 7:07:35 PM We need to have a hearing in Westchester County where the overaged power plant is being decommissioned to discuss who will the plant operations be transferred to during decommissioning and how the plant will be decommissioned. Concerned citizens should be able to have trust in the process and they are vested in it. We demand accountability and transparency. The plant was supposed to operate for only 20 years and that is an issue in and of itself. The safety of the the citizens and future citizens of this county and surrounding counties that are affected, since it sits right on the Hudson River, should be paramount. We need to be part of the process.
