[External_Sender] NRC-2020-0021 Date:

Thursday, February 13, 2020 11:03:24 PM Greetings NRC officials, My name is Dylan Basescu. I am a young man from the village of Cotton-On-Hudson, 6 miles south of the Indian Point Nuclear Generating Station. I am commenting on the planned transfer of licenses for the plant from Entergy to Holtec. I am hopeful that the plant will be decommissioned in a safe and timely manner, but Holtec has shown a woeful disregard for safety procedure, specifically failing among other things to account for the complications from a gas pipeline only a few hundred feet south of the plant grounds. This license transfer must be postponed until Holtec can show an adequate plan to deal with ALL of the complications that might reasonably arise during the decommissioning process, or until another entity suitable for the same task steps up. I hope you take the safety of our surrounding communities in Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam seriously enough to demand due diligence by Holtec, specifically including plans from them for the things Ive mentioned above.
