CPRR-91, Docket No. 50-241 4 &&

Dear Mr. Miller:

This letter will serve as official notification that the contaminated components associated with the research reactor referenced above have been removed from the campus of Mississippi State University and disposed of by Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc. at their Barnwell, South Carolina site. The components disposed of included the core tank, two empty safe-geometry fuel tanks, the recombiner, and the core drip catch pan.

The remaining reactor components are not contaminated and have been declared as scrap by the University.

Since the reactor no longer exists, please accept this letter as a request to vacate both the construction permit and the docket number.
