FURTHER REVISION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER Y< k. p<.^I *
~#
GOVERNING ACCESS TO SECURITY PLAN INFORMATI0L-p
~
f J.cf)
,1?
As illustrated by the need to revise our January 15, 198 Order on Security Plan Information" in recent Orders of March 15 a 1982, and by Suffolk County's (SC) request of April 7, 1982 that the Board rapidly approve access to the protected information by a named secretary to its counsel, a more efficient procedure for approving access by additional SC representatives would be useful.
Accordingly, the Board's protective orders, referenced above, are further revised to permit access to the protected information described in those orders by additional SC representatives on an as needed basis, provided that:
1.
Tne SC representative for whom access is sought has executed the affidavit of non-disclosure in the form approved by our prior
$D orders ;- /
Dg
- /For full accuracy, the affidavits probably should be modified in the future to reflect the revision in our March 31 order permitting use of protected information at an NRC Staff office in the Washington, D.C.
area.

2.
LILC0 and the NRC Staff have no objection to permitting the named individual access to the protected information.
This includes the right of LILCO and the NRC Staff to insist on compliance with paragraph 4(c) of the affidavit giving them the prior right to a resume of the designated secretary's background.
The Board does not require the filing of this ris~um'e in the proceeding in the absence of objection to the affiant; and 3.
The affidavit of non-disclosure is filed in the proceeding, along with the advice that LILC0 and the NRC Staff have no objection to the affiant.
The filing need not be made in advance of access to the information, but steps 1 and 2 are prerequisites to access.
Pursuant to the above, SC's request of April 7 that Mrs. Diana Kraemer be permitted to type the SC pleadings containing protected security information may be accomplished without further involvement by the Board.
Counsel for SC was informed of the substance of this Order by telephone on April 7, and was requested to inform LILC0 and the NRC Staff of the new prodedure.
