Dear Mrs. Ellis:
On Monday, April 5, 1982, the NRC Region IV office sent to you at my request, a copy of the latest Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance
("SALP") Board Report of the Comanche Peak Facility, Units 1 and 2.
As is stated in the cover letter transmitting the report to Texas Utilities Generating Company ("TUGC0"), the Report is not issued as an NRC Report until receipt of comments, if any, from TUGC0.
(The comments, if any, are included as an enclosure to the Report when it is issued as an NRC report.)
A twenty-day (20) period is normally provided for these comments to be submitted. However, in order to expedite release of this Report to you prior to its issuance as an NRC report, at my request, TUGC0 expedited its review of this report. To my knowledge, TUGC0 does not have any comments on the report.
I understand from our telephone conversation today that you have not yet received a copy of the report sent to you by Region IV on Monday.
Although I requested Region IV to send another copy to you today, I am also sending you another copy by Express Mail.
