DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS CONFIRMATION OF ACTION POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 This is to provide you with written notification of completion of response to Item 3 of your letter dated January 21, 1982 which requested a modification of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Emergency Plan and Implementing Procedure EAL's to agree with those given in NUREG-0654, Appendix 1, and to further define the delegation of responsibility for declaration of an emergency and notification of off-site agencies.
Attached is a copy of Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure 1.1, Revision 1, dated March 17, 1982. Table 1.1 in this procedure has been approved by the staff and will be inserted into the Emergency Plan at its next revision expected near the end of March 1982. The training on this procedure and its relevance to the authority delegated to the shift supervisors has been completed.
