UNIT 1 - BWR SCRAM DISCHARGE SYSTEM SAFETY EVALUATION
Dear Mr. Denton:
Please refer to the CG&E letter of July 30, 1981 on this same subject.
In the July 30 letter, CG&E responded to the December 1, 1980 NRC Staff Report entitled "BWR Scram Discharge System Safety Evaluation" as clarified by the Staff letter dated March 30, 1981.
Six copies of CG&E's comments on that NRC Staff Report were attached to the July 30, 1981 letter.
This matter was also the subject of IE Bulletins 80-14 and 80-17 and appeared in Supplement 2 to the Zimmer SER as Section 4.6.2.
Please refer to the attachment to the CG&E July 30, 1981 letter.
CG&E wishes to withdraw seven out of the eight exceptions originally taken to the Staff document.
The exceptions to be withdrawn are those on safety criteria 1, 2, 3, and 4; design criteria 3 and 10; and surveillance l
