50-260 50-296 Your letter dated February 5, 1982 regarding Evaluation of the Design of Emergency Response Facilities for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant stated that "... emergency response facilities must be completed prior to the date by which operating reactors must complete these facilities." TVA's schedule for implementation of these facilities has been previously transmitted to NRC by my letter to H. R. Denton dated June 2, 1981. It is our understanding that the requirements for these facilities are currently under review by NRC. Therefore, we will provide additional information regarding the detailed design for these facilities when NRC has issued final guidance and requirements for emergency response facilities.
