MAY, 1981 SU: DIARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES The plant was at full load at the beginning of the month.

On May 2, a load reduction to 80's was performed in order to complete routine monthly surveillance testing of turbine valves. The plant returned to full power on May 3.

On May 8, the plant was shutdown for Core 5/6 refueling outage and remained shutdown through the end of the month.
