Response to IE Bulletin, Supply System to NRC, dated August 18, 1980 The reference letter reported that certain safety related Rosemount Transmitters (Type 'J) at WNP-2, exposed to an over-range condition may provide erroneous output signals. The Supply System comitted to replace the transmitter electronics for the drywell pressure and the Main Steam Leak &ge Control System pressure monitoring instrumentation to eliminate such over-range problems. The recent issuance of Project Engineering Directives to install new circuit boards closes out our response to the subject bulletin.
Should you have further questions regarding this matter, please contact Mr. C.H. McGilton, Safety Engineering Group Manager, WNP-2.
Very truly yours, s/JN una
