9 Supplenental Agreement to Contract No. NRC-04-76-347 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEHIGH UNIVERSITY AND THE U. S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, effective the 1st day of January
,19 84 by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (hereinafter referred to as the
" Government"), as represented by the UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMIS-510N (hereinafter referred to as the " Commission"), and Lehigh University (hereinaf ter referred to as the " Contractor").
WITNESSETil TilAT:
UHEREAS, the parties desire to modify Contract No. NRC-04-76-347 as hereinafter provided, and this supplemental agreement is authorized by law, including the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that said contract is hereby modified as follows:
1.
"The ending date of this contract as contained in the prefatory sentence of the APPENDIX A, and in ARTICLE I - PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE, is hereby changed to February 19, 1982, from September 30, 1982.
2.
Title to all capital equipment acquired under this contract and possession thereof as described in Addendum A to this Modification No. 9 will be transferred to:
The Academy of Natural Sciences 19th and the Parkway Philadelphia, PA 19103 Before February 19, 1982 Attn:
Dr. Karen E. Hoagland 3.
The Government will not be liable for or obligated to reimburse any costs incurred by Lehigh University after February 19, 1982."
