Dear Mr. Felton:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C.
8 552,,and the Regulations at 10 C.F.R. 89 (Subpart A),
the Jacksonians United 'for Livable Energy Policies group hereby requests copies of, and otherwise access to HQ and resident inspector file materials, including photos, slides, inspection records, work orders, QA/QC reports and records-and any and all other documentation related to the damage and the repairs of the reactor containment vessel at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station in Port Gibson, Mississippi.
If it is not practical to furnish us with copies of these materials, we would like to respectfully ask that they be made available to us at the NRC's public document room (1717 H S t., NW).
In addition, we request a complete waiver of all costs you might incur in processing this information or providing us access to it under provisions at 10 C.F.R. E 9,14a, as the information will be used in the general public interest.
Nothing in this request should be interpreted as a request for the private records of any specific individual.
Hence, no provisions of the Privacy Act should be deemed applicable.
If all or any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific exemption (s) which you think justifies your refusal to release the information and inform us of the appeal procedures available to us under law.
We expect a substantive reply to this request within ten (10) working days, as required by the Freedom of Information Act.
