Dear Sir:
The Power Authority is participating in the ongoing BWh evaluation of the subject item.
Recently the Ovmers' Group determined that proposed ADS logic modifications, previously submitted to the NRC, may be incompatible with new Emergency Procedure Guidelines for reactivity control.
The Owners' Group provided the technical basis for this conclusion in an attachment to the referenced letter.
This letter also requested that the date for submission of the proposed ADS logic modifications be extended from April 1, 1982 to September 30, 1982.
When these proposed modifications are available, they will be reviewed by the Power Authority and the NRC will be notified if any modifi-cations to the FitzPatrick Plant are required.
