MONTHLY NARRATIVE REPORT OF OPERATING AND MAJOR MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE This report describes the operating and major maintenance experience for the month of January, 1982. This narrative report was prepared by the plant staff and is submitted in accordance with Section 6.9.1.10 of'the plant Technical-Specifications.

During the report period, PGandE engineers continued in the seismic reanalysis of the containment annulus pipe, components and equipment.

Independent reviewers continue to review the seismic calculations and other items as-required by the Commission.

No challenges to the PORVs or safety valves have been made. 'Furthermore, no changes have been made in the Offsite Dose Calculation Procedure, the Environmental Radiological Monitoring Procedure, or any' radioactive waste l

treatment systems.

-In response to the IE Information Notice 81-30, a representative sample of each type of check valve was disassembled and inspected.

All valves were found in good condition with no loose parts or potential for sticking.
