DPC RESPONSE Positive valve position indication is provided for Shutdown Condenser Off-Gas Valve, 62-25-003. There is an ann directly connected to the valve stem which activates one of two switches energizing either the open or closed valve light.

UPC RESP 0flSE Valve No. 55-24-039 Shutdown Condenser Vent to Holdup Tank is a normally locked open manual valve located in the Turbine Building Tunnel. This valve can be closed to isolate the Shutdown Condenser Off-Gas Vent Line if Valve No. 62--25-003 failed to close once opened. Training has been provided in use of this valve in Emergency Plan exercises.

DPC RESPONSE There are no other systems required to maintain adequate core cooling, in which the collection of a large amount of noncondensible gas could cause the loss of function of these systems during an accident.
