NUREG-0737, Item II.K.3.30 Gentlemen:
In response to your letter dated March 2,1982 on the above subject, Alabama Power Company submits the following. Alabama Power Company was required to submit by January 1, 1982 a revised Small-Break LOCA Model to account for recent experimental data. As documented in previous submittals on this subject and in our December 22, 1981 letter, Alabama Power Company is dependent upon Westinghouse and the Westinghouse Owner's Group for resolution of this requirement. Westinghouse will provide a draft report in April 1982 with a final report of the Westinghouse Model ap-plicable to all Westinghouse Nuclear Steam Supply Systems to follow by July 1, 1982.
It is the opinion of Alabama Power Company that the actions outlined in this letter satisfy the subject Unit 2 license condition.
