Sult%RY OF FEBRUARY 9 NID 10,1982 CRBR REVIEW MEETIllG A meeting was held on February 9 cnd 10,1982 in Bethesda,liaryland to discuss the Clinch River Breeder Reactor Structural Design. The applicants presented the design bases and criteria for the structural design. This included discussions on:
the plant duty cycle; elevated temperature design; reactor *,ystem seismic analysis; reactor internals dcsign; control rod systes.1 design and testing; reactor int 6rnal: testing; piping design analysis and testing; provisions for inservice inspection; and, the structural requirements for the auxiliary liquid metal system.
The llRC staff review comments were documented in four sets of questions which were sent to the applicants. The staff questions are: CS 250.1 and CS 250.2 sent on February 19, 1982; CS 250.3 through CS 250.9 sent on February 26,1932; CS 210.1 through CS 210.9 sent on February 26, 1982; and. CS 210.10 through CS 210.14 sent on March 11,1982. A follow-up meeting has been planned in mid-April to discuss the applicants responses to the staff questions. The meeting attendee listing is attached to this sumary.
