Dear Chairman Edles:
This letter will serve to memorialize our telephone conversation of March 25 concerning the Appeal Board's March 24, 1982 Memorandum and Order in the above-captior.ed proceeding. Specifically, I telephoned you to inquire as to whether the " single, consolidated responsive brief" (tiemorandum and Order, p. 4) to be filed by the Staff on May 20 was to respond to the UCS brief only, or whether it was expected to respond as well to the briefs already filed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Aamodts, and Licensee.
You told me that the Memorandum and Order contemplated that licensee (and other parties) were to. file a " single, consolidated responsive brief" by May 10, which brief shall be no longer than 140 pages (exclusive of table of contents and authorities and appropriate addenda), and which shall reply to all briefs filed by all parties in support of exceptions. The Staff's brief, which is to meet the same requirements, may be filed by itay 20, 1982.
