HARTSVILLE AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS - REPORTABLE DEFICIENCIES -

HIGH PRESSURE CORE SPRAY COMPONENT WIRING DISCREPANCIES (HNP-A-084, HNP-A-085, HNP-A-086, HNP-A-090, and PBNP-033) - SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE Please refer to my letter to you dated November 16, 1981 on the subject-deficiencies. As discussed with NRC-0IE, Region II, Inspectors R. Crlenjak and A. Hardin on February 10 and 16, 1982, respectively, TVA was unable to complete all corrective actions by the February 5, 1982 i

commitment date as stated in my November 16 letter.

A review of vendor drawings revealed several discrepancies that required sending these drawings back to the vendor for revisions. TVA anticipates receipt of the drawings and subsequent transmittal to the Hartsville and Phipps Bend sites on or before August 5, 1982.
