Virgil C. Sumer Nuclear Station, Unit 1 located in Fairfield County, South Carolina.
TYPE OF LICEllSE:
103 License for a custom PWR plant to init'lally be issued as a fuel load and 5% power license (139 megawatts thermal). The Sumer Station will operate at 2785 megawatts thermal when at full power.
APPR0XIMATE FUEL LOAD DATE:
April 26, 1982 BACKGROUflD:
The Construction Permit (CPPR-94) for the Sumer Station was issued on March 21, 1973.
The OL application was tendered by letter.f i
dated December 10, 1976. The Sumer Station consists of one unit.
