Dear Sir:
Reference (a.) requested. Boston Edison Company to provide certain documents from our EQ central file to Franklin Research Center (FRC) in order that FRC can complete their review of Boston Edison's response to the NRC Safety Evaluation Report.
Boston Edison is providing the documents listed in Attachment 1, which are the requested documents, with the following exceptions:
- 1. Some of the documents are proprietary to the manufacturer and Boston Edison does not have the authority to send the documents to Franklin Research Center.
The documents in this category are listed in Attach-ment 2.
Copies of these documents are on file and are available for review at our Boston office.
- 2. Some of the documents have been superseded as a result of Boston Edison's t.ontinuing search for qualitication documentation. Therefore, because these documents are no longer valid we have not included them. The docu-j ments in this category are listed in Attachment 3.

This is incorrect. The correct reference is Wyle Report 17446-2 located under section / //
"G".
- 4. Reference (a.) lists under section "J", G-HK-9-92 dated 6/5/79. The correct reference is G-HK-9-72, dated 6/5/79.

the Equipment Qualification Evaluation Sheets (EQESs) and will shortly be up-l dating the computer printout (Section 5.0.of Attachment 1 to Boston Edison Letters81-213 and 82-40) including the " Supporting Documents" Section. Any new documents will be supplied if requested.
