% /g 7 g Oraanization Change This letter is to inform you of an oroanizational char.ce related to the Quality Assurance Department of Houston Lightina & Power Company.

The Manager, Quality Assurance, Mr. Richard A. Frazar, has been reassioned to the position of Manaaer, Engineering Assurance, reportina to the Vice President, Nuclear Engineerino and Construction. The oosition of Manacer, Corporate Ouality Assurance, is currently vacant and we anticipate filling this position before the end of 1982. The Project Ouality Assurance Manager, South Texas Project, will report directly to the Executive Vice Dresident, Nuclear Group, during this time period.

The position of Support Quality Assurance Manager described in our Quality Assurance Program Description, Revision 2, has been retitled as Houston Ouality Assurance Manaaer. This change in title will be shown in our Quality Assurance Program Description, Revision 3 and FSAP. Amendment 24, both of which will be transnitted to the NRC during the month of March, 1982.

The Houston Quality Assurance Manager also reports directly to the Executive Vice President, Nuclear Group, while the position of Manager, Corporate Ouality Assurance, is vacant.

This oraanizational change was effective February 1,1982.
