Subj ect : 10 CFR 50 Part 21 - Report regarding the welding of fg i-lleating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Stiffeners

Dear h!r. Keppler:

Pullman Sheet bictal Works, Inc. , a supplier of miscellaneous llVAC items for the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station has determined that there are occasions where we have supplied ilVAC ductwork whose "As Welded Condition" stiffener angles do not meet the stipulated welding requirements.

Pullman Sheet h!ctal Works, Inc. is also currently supplying IIVAC items at h!arble 11111 Nuclear Power Station (New Washington, IN), Plant Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Power Station (Waynesboro, GA), and St. Lucie Plant Unit #2 (South Port St. Lucie, FL).

After evaluating these jobs, we have determined that this problem does exist at the h!arble 11111 job, however, it does not exist at St. Lucie or Vogt1c.
