CALENDAR YEAR 2019 REACTOR OVERSIGHT PROCESS BASELINE INSPECTION PROGRAM COMPLETION -
REGION III The purpose of this memorandum is to confirm that we completed 100 percent of the baseline inspection program for which Region III was responsible at all Region III plants in calendar year 2019.
Enclosed is a table that provides the completion status of baseline procedures for all Region III sites (IR Report 8a). Please note that this table does not include the status for procedures associated with the security and safeguards inspection program; however, we have completed the baseline inspections associated with security and safeguards for which we are responsible.
Please note that Region III completed all required subsamples for Inspection Procedure 71111.22, Surveillance Testing at Clinton during the calendar year. However, the subsample for Diverse and Flexible Coping Strategies (Flex) Testing was not documented by the fourth quarterly integrated inspection report due to an ongoing resolution of diverse views with respect to an associated finding for that subsample. Region III plans to document the completion of the subsample in the first quarterly integrated inspection report in 2020.
