Gentlemen,
\\? ^.
n 3 s.- s I was distunted to hear that 900. 7hornlurgh putlicly\\a,nicounced :.'s'
_e c
his desire to see Three Mile Island remain shut down.
His ollice said I should address my comments to your allice.
I was as concerned as anyone atout that regretalle accident at 7ML tuo years ago.
I an also concerned atout the slow progress to date in the clean-up.
As I see it, there remains a serious threal to health and safely as long as thousands of gallons of contaminated water remain in that crippled reactor.
I hope the
,lederal, government will soon get involved in the clean.up.
To this end, I will te contacting my congressman and senators.
What I cannot understand is why the
- good' reactor has nol Leen allowed to start tack up.
As you are well aware, the tuo reactors were designed ty dillerent liras.
The ' Lad
- reactor, ty Balcock and Wilcox, did no damage to the " good' reactor, ty gittert Commonwealth.
your keeping the undamaged reactor shut down is n ow costing QPU and the people il services millions of 1
dollars.
I cannot see any rational reasun for its continued shut down.
Please do aof let unin/ormed putlic lear sLand in the way 1
of a rational decision, which would te test for all.
I would appreciale any comments you could direct to me on l
the aLove concerns.
I will look forward to your response.
