Gentlemen:

As cor.mitted in our June 15, 1978 letter, attached is the proposed fire test of Cable Penetration Fire Stops installed in metal lath and plaster wall s at ANO.

The penetrations tested will represent " worst case" conditions.

The preposed test does not include fire stops in concrete floors and concrete and masonry walls. These will be addressed in a separate test to be submitted by August 1, 1979 To ensure that we have time to perform the fire stop test and make whatever possible modifications may be necessary before the 1980 refuel-ing outage, we request that you review the test and comment as soon as possible.

Very truly yours, d
