This directory (NUREG/BR-00SS, Rev. 3) lists local public document rooms (LPDR' ) for commercial nuclear s

power plants with operating or possession-only licenses or under construction, plus the LPDRs for low-level waste disposal facilities, the potential high-level radioactive waste geologic repository site, and certain fuel cycle facilities. In some instances, the LPDR libraries maintain document collections for more than one nuclear facility.

l The library staff members listed are the persons designated as NRC's collection contact or document recipient for each LPDR. These are the persons most likely to be familiar with the collections.

i The LPDRs are listed in alphabetical order by state, then alphabetically by city. The library hours given are the regularly scheduled hours. Summer or holiday hours may vary. Reference staff may not be on duty all hours that the library is open. Contact the library for further information on hours.

Regional federal depository libraries are indicated by the words " REGIONAL DEPOSITORY" following the name of the library. Selective federal depository libraries are indicated by the word " DEPOSITORY" following the name of the library. Depository libraries may have additional NRC publications in their government document collections.

The LPDRs established for nuclear power reactors have a microfiche file containing all NRC publicly-avail-able documents issued since January L98L These LPDRs are identified by a "*" following the name of the facility. The two high-level radioactive waste geologic repository LPDRs in Nevada also have this same microfiche file.

i The LPDRs with on-line access to the NRC Nuclear Documents System: Advanced Design (NUDOCS/AD) are indicated by the acronym "NUDOCS" following the name of the library. Access is currently available Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, EST. More LPDRs will be connected throughout the next i

several years. Call the NRC LPDR staff for an updated list.
