TUESDAY, JULY 20, 1993, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, ONE WHITE FLINT NORTH, ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE) l The Commission was briefed by the NRC staff on options for addressing shutdown and low power risk issues.
Section 3.3 of Appendix 2 of the regulatory analysis refers to the possible need for licensees to install containment closure.
The Commission requested an assessment of the number of licensees who might need this, and how other licensees might deal with the issue of containment integrity.
